Great for family; better than Olive Garden
Reviewed by arsbadmojo on 2008-11-24T08:51:06Z

This place isn't a family red sauce joint; it's a chain and they can seat 300. In that sense it's a lot like Olive Garden - and in fact the salad and breadsticks seem like they had to have been lifted off of an Olive Garden supply truck - but at the same time, there's no Olive Garden phony-nouveau pre-prepared crud like 'Shrimp Carbonara' - this place sticks to the classics. Service was adequate, the prices fair, portions nice, and they even hi t their marks on some details (like chilled salad plates). You can take the kids, unless they're pretentious dolts, everyone will find something they'll like, you get some breadsticks to keep you busy, the servers are on the ball, it's reasonably clean and won't set you back a small fortune. I call that a winner.

Pros: Great for family

Cons: Nothing you haven't seen before

Great Service and Great Food - Hard to Beat

I went to this Ragazzi's not knowing what to expect. I have always loved the food at Ragazzi's, but they vary from city to city. The Ragazzi's I frequented most in Greenville closed down. I really missed it. A friend and I planned a day trip to Cary, that included eating at Ragazzi's. We were very impressed. The food was superb, the portions were adequate, and the service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be returning for lunch sometime soon. I live about 1.5 hours away.....but it's worth it!!! Thank You Ragazzi's !

It's like Olive Garden, but cheaper!

Seriously Ragazzi's is like a tiny Olive Garden. The menu is almost the same, the salads rock, the bread sticks are great, but the prices are much lower than Olive Garden. The Chicken Cannolini is extremely good! The desserts are quite yummy and the service has always been very good. You should go! You'll like it!

Pros: Salad, breadsticks, entrees, dessert, staff, price. It's all good!

Cons: You have to make a u-turn on Glenwood if you are headed east to get to the restaurant.
